WWII Dogfight Over the Pacific

For those who love history, this demonstration is sure to be a thrill!

It is late in the year 1943 and although the United States has achieved some victories, the outcome of the war in the Pacific is far from certain as the Japanese continue on the march. A lone PBJ (B-25) Mitchell is making its way back to base somewhere over the Pacific. Out of the sun comes a Japanese Zero intent on taking down the PBJ. But little does the Zero know that the U.S. Navy F-6 Hellcat is in the area and will come to face off against the Zero in defense of the lone bomber.

This heart pounding reenactment will come to us courtesy of the SoCal Commemorative Air Force (CAF).
